About Me

Diem Phuc Nguyen

Hi! My name is Diem Phuc Nguyen but feel free to call me Diem. I am a recent graduate from University of Maryland, with a double-degree in Information Systems and Operations Management & Business Analytics.

I love computer science because half of a byte is a nibble. Being a freelance web designer and developer is a hobby of mine. I believe that the best way to verify an understanding, is to teach it. So I am a part-time TA/Instructor for various IT bootcamps at my local community college.

My Vietnamese origin name means "felicity" in English. I like to describe myself as someone who is goal-driven, organized, and resilient. My hobbies include various activities like: expressive dance, arts & craft, hiking, kickboxing, extreme sports (i.e. snowboarding, skydiving, bungee jumping), and baking.

Technology, Business, and Chemistry are my areas of specialty. However, I would love to find a balancing compromise between my interest and aptitude.
